GENERAL QUESTIONS

The Handlers are a group of highly skilled personal assistants ready to handle any task (as long as it is legal, of course!).

The Handlers can help you anywhere, anytime. The only limitations are availability. For example, if you are looking for an iPhone X to be delivered today but there are none available within 100 miles, we can’t fulfill that request. But we will always let you know the soonest and best option should you want to have something shipped in from outside your area.
The time a request takes is dependent on the level of detail or research a task requires. Things like ordering flowers and dining reservations are usually going to be less than 30 minutes for us to get handled. On the other hand, a request to hire Maroon 5 for your company holiday party, (or handle all the details for that party) might take us several hours to handle.
As long as you have access to SMS, Facebook Messenger, Slack, or Email, we can help!
Yes. The Handlers made data security our top priority. All of your information is handled according to the most current PCI and data security standards. In addition, all Handlers sign a non-disclosure agreement ensuring none of your information is discussed or used for any other purpose than fulfilling your request.

REQUESTS

We are happy to handle returns within the return policy of the item you purchased. If we are able to complete the return, we will have the refund applied to the card that was charged.
If for any reason you decide you want to cancel a request, just send us a message notifying us to stop the request. You will only be charged for the time we have spent on your request up until the time you notified us to cancel.
Currently, you can contact us through SMS, Facebook Messenger, Slack, and Email.
What kinds of things can you Handle? Anything, Anytime, Anywhere. Well…as long as it is legal. Here are some real examples of requests people have submitted to The Handlers:
  • "Bring my passport to the airport within the next hour."
  • "I need a room with a King bed at the Beverly Hilton for next weekend, poolside."
  • "I need you to pick up all my returns and mail them back to Amazon."
  • “I need you to get rid of all my Amazon boxes.”
  • "I need you to return my Comcast equipment”
  • "My meeting finished early, what are my flight options."
  • "I’ve had a couple drinks and need someone to come meet me and drive me and my car home."
  • "I need to reorder my arthritis supplements."
  • "I’m in back to back meetings today. Watch my email and notify me of anything urgent.”
The Handlers can give you time back by doing all the things you don’t want to do, hate to do, or can’t do yourself. Let us handle your tasks so you can do what is important to you and what you love to do.
In rare situations, The Handlers may not be able to fulfill a request. In these cases, we will always be transparent and notify you as soon as we know the request can’t be handled.

YOUR HANDLERS

Yes, if you are willing to provide access to your Handler and train them on the software, if necessary.
Our primary communication method is SMS, Facebook Messenger, Slack, or email. However, we can get on the phone, if necessary.
If you have used The Handlers before and you have a particular Handler that you enjoyed working with, you can sign up for The Fixer monthly plan. Once you sign up, please send a request through any of our communication channels, or to [email protected] giving us the name of the Handler you would like as your assigned Handler. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but it is dependent on their availability.
The Handlers is a group of personal assistants that are available to you to handle any task. Each Handler goes through a training process to ensure you always have a consistent experience.

MAKING PURCHASES

No, The Handlers will always confirm the total cost of goods and/or services and an estimated delivery or service completion date before moving forward.
The processing fee is 2.9% + $0.30 and is charged whenever there is a service or good purchased.
No. Never. Ever.  You only pay the cost of the item or service, plus whatever time it took for us to Handle your request.
No, for your security, our Handlers are unable to take any credit card information from you directly. The card you enter on The Handlers website is stored securely by Stripe, our payment processor and we never have access to your card information.
Yes, if you ever prefer to pay for a service or good directly, please let your Handler know.
The Handlers will pay for the service or product, and then we will charge your credit card.

BILLING AND USAGE

Please contact [email protected] within 72 hours of the request being handled. We will be happy to address any concerns and if there was an error on our side make the necessary correction. All charges for time spent on requests are final after 72 hours.
Your invoices are available when you log in to your account on www.thehandlers.com. Any receipts for purchases made on your behalf will be attached in your invoice as well. You can also request via text to have a screenshot of the invoice sent via SMS or email us at [email protected].
Add a card by logging into your account on The Handlers site and adding a new credit card under payments.
For a full usage history, login to www.thehandlers.com. All charges will be available for viewing on The Handlers dashboard.
